"If the media reports are accurate, then this recalls the methods used by enemies during the Cold War," Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger said in a statement to The Associated Press."

"It is beyond comprehension that our friends in the United States see Europeans as enemies," she said, calling for an "immediate and comprehensive" response from the U.S. government to the claims."

Well, I'm a far left liberal which is probably not popular with the tea party but I have to agree with one aspect of what they are currently saying - Things have gotten way out of hand with the new American World order of political correctness in this country, and that personal common sense and social educate has been replaced with a reversal of one factions intolerance being replaced with another's. As long as all your friends think it, why think for yourself is the new bandwagon that people seem to be jumping onto without realizing they are becoming the ones they used to hate. One of the attendees was a 16-year-old boy named Tariq Aziz, who had volunteered to learn photography to begin documenting drone strikes near his home. The Monsters We Create

This may seem out of left field and off the upcoming topic, but after Bill Clinton had his sordid under the desk affair with Monica Whorinsky around 1997, and then bold faced lied about it to America I was crushed. I had idolized the man for years and trusted every aspect of him as a politician, not to mention deeply respected him as a man.

To make a long story a little shorter, I was absolutely disgusted with the man I had once held in such great democratic esteem, much as I am now with our current president Barack Obama. What redeemed Bill Clinton in my eyes one night in 2007 is when Wild Bill Clinton appeared on the David Letterman Show and Dave asked Clinton a simple question, “Why does Osama Bin Laden hate us?”

Clinton did the most remarkable thing when Letterman asked that basic question – He told the absolute truth!

President Clinton stated that the Iran-Contra scandal of the late 1980 s involving selling arms to Iran and then diverting the proceeds illegally to Contra rebels in Nicaragua,  spooked the shady powers that be at the time and they started to get nervous about being caught funding another “freedom fighting” group unauthorized by the United States Congress. The CIA had been secretly funding the Mujahedeen fighting the Russians in Afghanistan and at that time in our history we also wanted out of the SALT ll Treaty with Russia, in order to further President Reagan’s dream of nuclear weapons circling the Earth in satellites known as “Star Wars.”

Never wanting to bother with petty ethics issues the CIA decided to cut their losses before they got caught again. They proceeded to double cross the Afghan Mujahedeen fighting the Soviets by telling the Russians where the next secret supply drop would be delivered to the “freedom fighters.” Osama Bin Laden and the Afghan Mujahedeen were betrayed and ambushed as they came to pick up their much needed supplies. They were wiped out virtually to the last man, except for Bin Laden and his cleric /mentor Abdullah Yusuf Azzam.

In 1989 Abdullah Yusuf Azzam was assassinated with the help of the CIA to appease Israel, and also make another fast deal to further the American Republican political agenda in the Middle East.

Needless to say, that was the last straw that broke the camel’s back, (no pun intended, well maybe a little bit) from then on Osama Bin Laden was at war mentally and physically with the United States.

That brings us to Manuel Noriega, no need to rehash the whole story. Once again the CIA used a murderous South American dictator to smuggle cocaine into America,  and then in an ethically void scheme proceeded to sell South American drug  Cartel coke to black gangs in Los Angeles in order to finance the Contra rebels,  and God only knows what other dirty CIA projects under the nose of Congress.

I feel confident that people already get the gist of where I’m going with Saddam Hussein.  How we ourselves as a country gladly armed him in the years before the Iraq war, and that I can just stop here with the history lessons.

My point of which I will now address is this: How many more monsters are we as an intelligent, democratic, and a “free” society going to allow our government to manufacture?  More importantly, how many more thousands of lives will be lost and destroyed World-wide by our American government’s next horrible creation?

The “old school” Republican Political Party dirty tactics seem to have been revisited and sadly revised not to mention re-utilized by the “New School” Democratic Party Administration to the same old-sad-ends.

               Nixon, Nixon, Nixon, those used to be dirty words to old school democrats like myself, but the new dirty term in the counter culture has somehow become reversed in a somewhat ridiculous and ironic twist – We Democratic upholders of truth and eternal justice,  have become “The Man.”

               Trial, what trial. Torture, depends. Protection, how much you willing to pay. Insider perks and arrangements - Have you pre-paid already?

               All these new “Social Democratic” ideals have been piling up lately much to my old school democratic embarrassment, but they have also been a long time in coming.

               2008 might have given liberals the mistaken, (or maybe not) impressions that it was the democratic parties turn to be the “good old boys.”

               The word dictator has been thrown around all last year and the year before with distasteful posters and middle class young nerds hitting the streets with their offensive card tables and their punch-in-the-nose- stupid looking conservative sweaters.

               Now I could go on and on about how my party has upheld the standards of American politics but that would be a blatant lie, and there is too much of that going on in both sides of our “Two Party System.”

               I propose a system where we go back to the blissful days when American government was not as transparent as government aspires to be these days. I long for the good old days when we tortured and assassinated people constantly but no one really cared nor needed to read about the gory details during their morning coffee.

               I long once again for those by-gone days when you could get all the cheap tail or young page cock you wanted, or at least all you could handle/ fondle at the White House, as long as your wife was out of town or back in the home state,  somewhere baking cookies for a girl scout troop and trying not to think about who their husbands are screwing at the moment.

               Having too much transparency in government is not only inconvenient and embarrassing, but also dangerous. Transparency reminds the sleeping nine to five apathetic American population that there is only one political party in this nation and always has been. The Democratic / Republican Party!

Washington’s Legal Pot Industry: Medical Marijuana Delivery Services

The recent passing of Initiative 502 legalizing the recreational use of marijuana in Washington State, will soon interject the issue of marijuana into every Washington State citizens lives regardless of whether they use the drug or not. There is a separate and independent law that is set apart from 502 in medical marijuana provisions. The medical marijuana delivery business is one of those industries that follow a very different set of rules than Washington’s new recreational drug use law.

Kevin Phillips has been in the medical marijuana delivery business since late 2011. Phillips started the delivery service after seeing the benefits of medical marijuana first hand when his mother started using the drug to relieve her symptoms from a debilitating affliction with Multiple Sclerosis.

Phillips stated that the improvement he saw in his mother’s quality of life when she started using medical marijuana inspired him to start the Therapeutic Health Center - Medical Marijuana Delivery Service.

Therapeutic Health Center gradually grew from one to ten calls a day, within six months their call rate increased to 15 to 25 calls per day.

Patient’s illnesses ranged from chronic pain, fiber myalgia, and stomach problems to life threatening illnesses such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s  disease.

Phillips first consulted a lawyer before opening his business - in order to become aware of any legal challenges he might have to face to achieve his goal of starting a medical marijuana delivery service. He was surprised to find that there were very few if any obstacles in his way to legally distribute medical marijuana to authorized patients in Washington State.

All that was required legally to start his business was a standard retail pharmacy license for a nominal fee. Phillips also informed local law enforcement of his intentions, and also the local Chamber of Commerce as well.

Therapeutic Health Center pays city, state, and federal taxes on all medicinal marijuana sales to patients. Prior to the changing of the medical marijuana laws in July of 2011, medical marijuana businesses were allowed to operate as Non- profit agencies, and were not required to pay taxes on marijuana sales. Sales were called donations rather than purchases to legally distribute medical marijuana and avoid tax issues.

Philips stated that he is not worried about the recent legalization of small amounts of recreational marijuana infringing on his profit margins. The legal amount someone can carry on their person is 1 oz. recreationally, compared to being able to possess one and a half pounds of marijuana medically in a 60 day period.

Authorized medical marijuana users are allowed to grow up to 15 marijuana plants, while growing marijuana for the general public is still illegal.

Anthony Pieper has been a medical marijuana delivery driver for Therapeutic Health Center for over a year now. Pieper used to be a member with Therapeutic Health Center as a patient and asked the owner of the company for work one time while purchasing marijuana from T.H.C. Delivery Service; six months later he was surprised by a phone call from Phillips asking him to come to work for them as a driver.

Pieper is a Gulf War veteran who left the military in 2008, according to Pieper; he had been traveling around trying to find his new niche in civilian society after serving his country. Pieper stated that he found that niche in helping people with debilitating medical conditions get medicine they truly need to relieve their suffering when he took the driving job with Therapeutic Health Center. “Helping people who need it is what it is all about, “said Pieper.

When asked what kind of security precautions the drivers use, and what the protocol for being robbed is, Pieper stated that drivers carry licensed concealed fire arms to protect themselves, and that new patients first deliveries through the service are not allowed after 8 PM.

 Pieper also reiterated that as far as he has encountered, patients are honest, friendly, and have actually called the driver in most cases when something is left behind by accident – including money and product left behind by mistake.

 Pieper also pointed out that they have the entire patient’s information already processed in their computers, so it would be very foolish for a patient to be involved in robbing them. The police are immediately notified in cases such as robbery or theft of medical marijuana.

DOMA: Why was it Enacted?

Some people might not know that much about the Defense of Marriage Act if it does not directly impact their lives. The issue of gay marriage has recently come back into the limelight with the Supreme Court holding hearings on two major LGBT issues. These rulings will have the potential to drastically change both straight and gay American citizen’s lives after the Judges decisions have been given out.

What is the Defense of Marriage Act? DOMA is a federal law that was enacted on Sept. 21, 1996, that does not recognize the legal union of gay marriage federally, even though the union is legal in their home state.

Why was it enacted? The Defense of Marriage Act was a direct response from a U.S. Congress in 1996 that was uneasy about the concept of gay marriages spreading across the entire United States and having to give same sex couples the same rights nationwide as traditional married couples. This fear was at its climax when a Hawaiian lawsuit in 1993, (Baehr v. Lewin) where three same sex couples filed a lawsuit after being denied marriage licenses.

What was being heard at the Supreme Court hearings? The Supreme Court will consider on whether the federal governments ban on same sex marriages is even legally constitutional. The high court will also hold hearings on California’s Proposition 8 which changed the California States Constitution in 2008, to only legally recognize a marriage as being defined as – solely between a man and a woman.

How does this ruling affect me? Well, whether you are gay, involved socially with gay people, or have one as a family member, how the American Government modernly, progressively, and fairly, redefines the basic unalienable rights that are to be accorded its citizens, truly effects us all.

Genetically modified organisms sound like something out of a science-fiction novel, but they are sold on virtually every grocery-store-shelf in America.

Corn is the most prevalent GMO crop in the United States. 25 percent of the corn grown in this country has been genetically altered with a bacterial gene that produces an insecticide, making the plants poisonous to caterpillars, and 85 percent of all corn grown in this nation as of 2012, is genetically altered somehow.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture assures Americans that genetically modified crops pose no more - nor less - health risks than NON – GMO food sources; whether America truly believes that genetically altered crops and fish are safe to eat is another story.

Organizations such as the NON - GMO Project adamantly believe that genetically altered food of any type is UN-healthy, risky, is a potential ecological disaster, and that GMO agriculture should be avoided like the plague at all costs.

These types of Anti - GMO organizations were recently in the news and social media, promoting mandatory warning labels on all genetically altered food sources. The daunting task of such an endeavor to track down and label every can, box, and piece of produce, fish, meat and poultry, alienates them politically with lawmakers in Washington DC. 

With all the dangerous things that are going on in the world today, whether or not eating is going to one of them still remains to be seen.

GMO Crops: The Skinny Truth on Genetically Altered Food

I would like to remind the world that is harping over genetically altered crops that the Earth is dying faster than we can fix it!

Centuries of “The Earth is here for man to exploit” worldwide cultural mentalities have severely damaged the planets ecological balance, that now hundreds if not thousands of years will be needed to reverse the effects of the things we have already destroyed.

The population is quickly becoming well beyond the capacity of the Earth's sustainability ratio, due to longer life spans and social prosperity benefited by the modern age of technology which ironically and inevitably is slowly / rapidly killing us all if the population continues at this rate of uncontrolled growth.

Earth's overcapacity and failing sustainability, along with all of the world’s inhabitants devastating carbon footprints that are growing larger and larger around the world by the second, are not as easily erased as global societies common sense has over the last couple of hundred years

 World leaders are well aware of this real impending doomsday,  because the facts and statistics are irrefutable even to the average layman; these statistics are plane for every average citizen to see and research for themselves but world governments are confidently relying on the peoples lust for material wealth, knowing the daily 9 to 5 hustle will distract the general population of the world from catching on to this fact of life / death as governments prepare to save themselves; they know that by the true nature of the problem and encroaching world crisis – they cannot save everyone.

 If they told us that either millions of people around the world need to die in the near future, or we are all going to die, we would then immediately start to panic all at once, and then the government would have anarchy on their hands to deal with as well. (Thus the reason for America’s own government quietly placing crowd control and riot squad precautions around the United States of late, re-enforcing its homeland) - So maybe giant carrots that grow in the desert, and watermelons that are the size of a small cottage in the near future, might not be such a bad thing, plus it just might buy us all some more time. The scary fact is though; it still won’t save us without drastic action and sacrifice by the majority of the world’s population.

The average selfish human being is so far not willing to commit to, nor even acknowledge the ongoing problem in order to save the entire planet - let alone its fellow human beings. So the next time you are in the grocery store spending your eagerly hard earned cash on expensive organic vegetables, saying how much you care about and support a healthy planet - look deeper and deeper into yourself, then ask yourself the cold hard question –Is healthy happy materially successful human beings the best thing for- THE PLANET!
