a 25 Billion Dollar “Great Wall” Trust Fund in Exchange for a decade-long “Path” to citizenship for DACA kids.

Billion Two Hundred Thousand.
A 2017
report by the Institute of Taxation and Economic Policy found that 1.3 million
undocumented immigrants in the United States enrolled in, or eligible for DACA,
contributed more than $11.74 Billion a year in state and local taxes. That equals
out to $117.4 Billion over the decade that Trump proposes for a pathway to
citizenship.
Repealing
the temporary legal status and work authorizations permitted under DACA
would reduce estimated state and local revenues by nearly $800 million per
year.
So In
reality, if a deal is finally made which also passes both the House and Senate,
DACA Kids will really be the ones paying for Trump’s “Great Wall” several times
over!
