Dante’s
Spider
by Brian Thomas Armstrong
by Brian Thomas Armstrong
Sins
of the flesh are sweet and fresh
Sings
the Devil’s spider as it spins its mesh
“Brings
me morsels caught in my web”
“Broughts
me more souls when my harvests ebb”
“Catches
me more damned for eternal treats”
“I
sneaks up from behind for a taste of meats”
“I
knows very well there’s no way to tell”
“When
their hellz begans or hows they fell”
Forever
singing using magic from his master
Creating
dark demented music while he’s waiting
Debating
doing more disaster
An
eccentric cosmic creature
Dante’s
faithful evil spider
