THE FACTS: Actually, they are not rising any faster than they have before. Average hourly pay rose 2.5 percent in 2017, slightly slower than the 2.9 percent increase recorded in 2016 under President Barack Obama.

TRUMP: "For decades, open borders have allowed drugs and gangs to pour into our most vulnerable communities."

THE FACTS: Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama doubled the ranks of Border Patrol. Bush extended fencing to cover one-third of the border. Obama deported over 2 million, more than in previous administrations.

TRUMP: "We repealed the core of the disastrous Obamacare — the individual mandate is now gone."

THE FACTS: No, it's not gone. It's going, in 2019. People who go without insurance this year are still subject to fines.

Trump wants a 25 Billion Dollar Trust Fund for his “Great Trump Wall” in Exchange for a “Deal” on DACA Kids.

Trump’ wants a 25 Billion Dollar “Great Wall” Trust Fund in Exchange for a decade-long “Path” to citizenship for DACA kids. Wall vs. DACA Kid $ ratio - 1.8 million DACA Kids x $14,000 = Twenty-five Billion Two Hundred Thousand.

A 2017 report by the Institute of Taxation and Economic Policy found that 1.3 million undocumented immigrants in the United States enrolled in, or eligible for DACA, contributed more than $11.74 Billion a year in state and local taxes. That equals out to $117.4 Billion over the decade that Trump proposes for a pathway to citizenship.

Repealing the temporary legal status and work authorizations permitted under DACA would reduce estimated state and local revenues by nearly $800 million per year.

So In reality, if a deal is finally made which also passes both the House and Senate, DACA Kids will really be the ones paying for Trump’s “Great Wall” several times over!
